Great opportunity for a skilled candidate with Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management or a closely related field, and five (5) years of experience in public sector management and administration or any equivalent combination of related education and experience. Dispatcher for the Miami Police Department Full-time w/ benefits. Applicants must be 18 years of age, possess a HS diploma or GED. Computer experience required. Performs a variety of clerical, administrative and technical work in receiving and dispatching routine and emergency information; keeping official records; and assisting in the administration of the standard operating policies and procedures of the dispatch center. COURIER: Full-time position with benefits. The Courier will pick up and transport samples to labs in the Phoenix Metro Area on a daily basis and occasionally deliver and pick up items as instructed. Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator: Applicants must be 18 years of age, possess a valid AZ Driver’s License, a high school diploma or GED and must be a US citizen. Applicant must also have no felony convictions and be able to work with D.O.C. workers. Works under the supervision of the Public Works Director. Operate and control an entire pump system and wastewater treatment plant, often through the use of control boards and process systems, to transfer or treat water or liquid waste. • Inspect equipment or monitor operating conditions, meters and gauges to determine load requirements and detect malfunctions. • Add chemicals such as ammonia, chlorine, or lime to disinfect and deodorize water and other liquids. • Record operational data, personnel attendance, or meter and gauge readings on specified forms. • Maintain, repair and lubricate equipment, using hand tools and power tools. • Operate and adjust controls on equipment to purify and clarify water, process or dispose of sewage and generate power. • Clean and maintain tanks, filter beds and other work areas using hand tools and power tools. • Collect and test water and sewage samples using test equipment and color analysis standards. • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operating reports. • Ensures wastewater treatment plant operate within ADEQ guidelines. • Submit operating reports to consultants and ADEQ on a timely basis.
