The Miami High School Student Body, in conjunction with MHS Alumni and the “M” Project Committee, needs your help beautifying the “M” on “Sho Me Hill” in Miami. This year marks the 90th anniversary of the construction of the “M.”
We are asking all those that would like to help clear the weeds and brush around the “M” to meet at the parking lot in front of the Our Lady of The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 8:30a.m. Please come dressed in your work clothes, boots and bring your shovel, pick axe, gardening hoe, rakes, battery operated weed eater, drinking water, head wear, small handheld chainsaw, work gloves or whatever you think will help clean around the “M.” Please label your personal tools with your name.
If you are not able to walk up to the “M,” you are welcome to donate monetarily to help the effort or you can donate supplies to the picnic. The picnic will be held at Veterans Park on Sullivan Street in Miami after the cleanup has been completed. Please bring your own chairs and/or canopy if you plan to sit in the grass areas. Walk-ins are welcome to attend the picnic for a donation.
If you are not able to attend this event, you may also make a financial donation through:
