Copper Mountain Transit proudly provides reliable and accessible transportation services for the Miami, Globe, and unincorporated Gila County areas. Whether you need to get to work, school, or run errands, we offer convenient options to meet your needs, including Dial-a-Ride services and two Fixed-Route bus routes.

Hours of Operation

Our services operate Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (excluding major holidays). We strive to offer dependable and timely transportation to help you reach your destination safely and efficiently.

Bus Services

  • Dial-a-Ride Service: This flexible service is available for those who require a more personalized transportation option. Ideal for individuals with mobility challenges or specific travel needs, Dial-a-Ride allows you to schedule a pick-up and drop-off at locations within our service area.
  • Fixed-Route Bus Service: We offer two Fixed-Route bus lines that cover essential destinations throughout Miami, Globe, and surrounding areas. These routes are perfect for daily commuters, students, and anyone traveling locally.

Bus Rules

To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all passengers, please adhere to the following bus rules:

  • No open food or drink containers on the bus.
  • No alcohol consumption or beverages on the bus.
  • Pets must be in a carrier on the floor.
  • Service animals must sit on the floor only and be on a leash.
  • Offensive behavior or poor hygiene will not be tolerated.
  • Remain seated when the bus is moving.
  • Do not distract the driver for your safety and that of others.
  • Wear a cloth facemask while on the bus to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Note: Failure to follow these rules will result in removal from the bus.

Bus Schedule

Our buses run Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The schedule indicates the times the bus picks up at each stop along the route. Please refer to the full schedule to find your bus stop and departure times.

Bus Fares and Passes

We offer affordable fare options for all passengers:

  • One-Way Adult Fare: $1.00
  • Students, Seniors, and Persons with Disabilities: $0.50
  • Children under 12 with an Adult: Free
  • Monthly Full Fare Pass: $25.00
  • Monthly Reduced Fare Pass: $15.00

Please Note: Passengers must have exact change or a valid pass when boarding. Drivers cannot make change or return money from the fare box.

Tips for Riding

Respect your fellow passengers by maintaining appropriate behavior and hygiene while on the bus.

Ensure the bus is traveling in your direction before boarding.

Always have your fare ready or show your pass when boarding.

All food and drinks must be in closed containers with secure tops (no soft cups).

Pets, except for service animals, must be in small cages or carriers and remain on the floor.
